In this role, you will:
- Prepare and maintain purchase orders, receiving documents, delivery records and shipment files.
- Coordinate container arrivals, deliveries and unloading arrangements with warehouse teams.
- Monitor shipment status and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
- Update product master data, including product details, pricing and specifications.
- Support new product setup and system updates.
- Assist with missing items, damaged goods, delivery discrepancies and disposal arrangements.
- Liaise with suppliers, warehouses, outlets and internal departments on daily operational matters.
- Maintain proper filing and prepare basic Excel reports and tracking records.
- Perform other duties assigned by the immediate superior.
You might thrive in this role if you have:
- Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent. Candidates with a Diploma in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, Merchandising or a related field will be given preference.
- Fresh graduates are welcomed.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Detail-oriented, organized and able to follow up on multiple tasks.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Mandarin language proficiency is an advantage for regular communication with China-based suppliers and product documentation.
