About the role
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Odoo Software Developer to join our digital transformation team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, customizing, implementing, and maintaining Odoo ERP solutions to support business operations across multiple departments. You will work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable and efficient system solutions.
In this role, you will:
- Design, develop, customize, and maintain Odoo applications and modules.
- Develop new features and enhance existing Odoo functionalities based on business requirements.
- Integrate Odoo with third-party applications, APIs, and internal systems.
- Perform troubleshooting, debugging, testing, and system enhancements to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver effective ERP solutions.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and system documentation.
- Provide technical support, issue resolution, and user assistance for Odoo-related matters.
- Ensure system security, data integrity, and compliance with development best practices.
- Participate in system upgrades, migration projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.
You might thrive in this role if you have:
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Odoo development and customization.
- Strong proficiency in Python, PostgreSQL, and the Odoo framework.
- Experience in Odoo module development, customization, workflow configuration, and system integration.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and third-party integrations.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, and Git version control is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Odoo and/or Python certifications will be an added advantage.

The salary is RM 4,800 – RM 7,000
per month
