About the role
The Shop Assistant is responsible for assisting the Retail Store Manager in floor operations, managing inventory and providing good customer service. The Cashier is responsible for receiving payments, issuing receipts and maintaining accurate records of all cash and credit transactions.
In this role, you will:
Shop Assistant
- Receiving, unpacking and arranging newly delivered stocks
- Labelling and organizing goods on the display shelves
- Assisting customers in locating the products they're looking for
- Handling customer complaints and inquiries courteously
- Must be sharp, precise and careful in performing duties
- Responsible for retail selling activities
- To be in charge of the cashier counter and order station
- To handle cash transactions and assist customers efficiently
- To ensure all accounts are updated regularly, with no discrepancies or missing cash from the drawer or account
- Must be sharp, precise and careful in handling the job
- Hardworking and positive in all instruction given
- To count and verify the daily collection and submit it to Cashier Head
- To process sales transactions (scan and pack products etc.) according to procedure
You might thrive in this role if you have:
- Min SPM
- Age between 18-30
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
- Prior experience or basic knowledge in retail is an added advantage

The salary is Starting from RM1,700
per month
