About the role
A Demand Planner helps ensure smooth operations, reduces costs, and maximizes sales opportunities by accurately matching supply with customer demand.
In this role, you will:
- Forecasting Demand: Analyzing sales data and trends to predict future product needs.
- Inventory Management: Ensuring optimal stock levels, avoiding shortages or excess inventory.
- Supplier Coordination: Working with suppliers to ensure timely delivery based on forecasts.
- Sales Planning: Adjusting plans for promotions, seasonal events, and market changes.
- Reporting & Performance Tracking: Monitoring key metrics like forecast accuracy and inventory turnover.
- Collaboration: Working with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to align on demand and supply strategies.
