About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized Shipping & Administration Executive to join our team at Rakanda Enterprise Sdn Bhd in Semenyih, Selangor. This full-time role will be responsible for providing administrative and shipping support to ensure the smooth running of our operations.
In this role, you will:
- Coordinating shipping and logistics activities, including arranging vessel/truck/air shipment bookings, monitoring delivery schedules, and tracking cargo movement to ensure timely delivery.
- Preparing, verifying, and maintaining shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin, and other related documents.
- Liaising with freight forwarders, shipping agents, customs authorities, transport providers, and internal teams to ensure smooth import and export operations.
- Supporting customs clearance processes and ensuring compliance with shipping regulations, trade requirements, and company procedures.
- Reviewing shipping quotations, freight charges, and logistics-related invoices to support cost control and identify improvement opportunities.
- Maintaining accurate shipment records, inventory movement records, and related administrative documentation.
- Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating stock movement to ensure availability and smooth daily operations.
- Handling shipment-related issues, including delivery delays, cargo discrepancies, and coordinating corrective actions when required.
- Providing general administrative support and assisting with ad-hoc tasks or projects assigned by the team.
You might thrive in this role if you have:
- Previous experience in shipping, logistics, supply chain, or administrative support roles, preferably within the Retail, Wholesale, Manufacturing, or Trading industry.
- Knowledge of shipping processes, import/export procedures, and related documentation (Bill of Lading, Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Good attention to detail with strong documentation and coordination skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external parties.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications especially Excel , ITON system, Canva, and documentation management.
- A proactive, responsible, and team-oriented individual with a problem-solving mindset.
- Minimum Qualification: STPM / Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Compensation, Benefits and Perks
The salary is RM 4,000 – RM 4,500
per month
