About the role
The Shop Assistant is responsible to assist the Retail Store Manager with working the floor, managing inventory and providing excellent customer service. This position requires Physical Fitness, strong stamina, good interpersonal skills, and a solid sense of teamwork.
In this role, you will:
- Receiving, unpacking, and arranging newly delivered stocks
- Labelling and organizing goods on display shelves
- Assisting customers in locating the products they're looking for
- Handling customer complaints and inquiries courteously
- Must be sharp, precise and careful in performing duties
- Hardworking and positive in carrying out all given instructions
- Responsible for retail selling activities
You might thrive in this role if you have:
- Min SPM
- Age between 18-35
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
- Prior experience or basic knowledge in retail is an added advantage
