About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales and Merchandising Executive to join our purchasing and merchandising team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in purchasing, with a strong ability to manage suppliers, process purchase orders, and coordinate stock and order arrangements. Excellent negotiation, communication, and Excel skills are essential for success in this role.

In this role, you will:

• Forecasting Demand: Analyzing sales data and trends to predict future product needs.
• Inventory Management: Ensuring optimal stock levels, avoiding shortages or excess inventory.
• Supplier Coordination: Working with suppliers to ensure timely delivery based on forecasts.
• Sales Planning: Adjusting plans for promotions, seasonal events, and market changes.
• Reporting & Performance Tracking: Monitoring key metrics like forecast accuracy and inventory turnover.
• Collaboration: Working with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to align on demand and supply strategies.

• Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a purchasing or merchandising role.

  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field is preferred.

  • Skills:

    • Strong negotiation and communication skills.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data analysis).

    • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
