About the role

The role focuses on developing new product formulations by identifying and applying suitable technologies to achieve desired results within established timelines. Key responsibilities include collaborating with the operations team to establish new projects and monitor progress, acquiring regulatory information, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. The individual will also support production line setups as needed and engage with relevant literature to stay informed. Maintaining test reports and quality documents is crucial, alongside the ability to analyze research results. Finally, submitting assessments on ingredients, benefits, costs, and legality ensures products meet both market demands and regulatory standards. Overall, this position is vital for innovative and compliant product development.

In this role, you will:

  1. Responsible for developing new products formulation by searching, identifying and applying the most appropriate technology to achieve the desire results within the desire time frame to secure the targeted commercial advantages
  2. To work with relevant operation team to determine and establish new projects, products, process and plan. To monitor the projects progress against agreed target. Acquire food regulatory information, innovation ingredients & process knowledge to establish system
  3. Understand and work with Regulatory and Quality compliance department regarding compliance of quality system requirements, other regulatory standards and safety, health and environmental requirements.
  4. Supporting assembly or production line setup when necessary.
  5. Expect to provide an intellectual and interactive commitment to the position by keeping up with appropriate literature and research publication.
  6. Establish and maintain all test reports, records and quality documents. Ability to analyze and interpret research results.
  7. Submission of assessment of ingredients, benefits, costing and legality.

You might thrive in this role if you have:

  1. Education Background: Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology / Nutrition / Dietetics, Chemistry, Bio Technology.
  2. Experience: Preferably candidate with more than 5 years experience with experience in Food Manufacturing industry.
  3. Require Skill:
    1. Knowledge of food technology, food microbiology, safe food handling procedures and food service sanitation practices.
    2. Knowledge in ISO 22000, ISO 9001 and HACCP systems has advantage.
    3. Knowledge of data analysis and technology, excellent communication and organizational skill.
