The role involves overseeing eCommerce operations to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include managing platform design, content creation, marketing strategies, order fulfillment, and customer service. The individual will analyze eCommerce data to identify improvements and stay updated on industry trends. Designing graphics for product listings on platforms like Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok is essential, along with coordinating product photography. The role also requires ensuring a user-friendly and SEO-optimized website, responding to customer inquiries, and maintaining high performance scores. Additional tasks include content creation, conducting market research for new product opportunities, generating reports with recommendations, and maintaining relationships with platform partners. The individual will assist with order fulfillment and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations, while being flexible to take on other assigned duties. Overall, this position is crucial for driving eCommerce success and growth.
In this role, you will:
- Oversee and back up ecommerce operations, including platform design, content creation, marketing, order fulfilment, and customer service.
- Analyse, report and submit ecommerce data to pinpoint improvements and optimize performance.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to ensure competitive ecommerce strategies.
- Design graphics for products and promotions on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok.
- Handle or coordinate product photography and videography.
- Ensure the ecommerce site is user-friendly, intuitive, and optimized for search engines.
- Respond and support to customer inquiries.
- Maintain high performance score in ecommerce stores.
- Handle content creation tasks, including basic image editing and copywriting.
- Conduct market research to analyse competitors and trends and suggest new products based on trends
- Generate reports on key metrics and provide recommendations.
- Maintain strong relationships with platform partners.
- Assist in ecommerce order fulfilment, including picking, packing, drop-off and shipping products accurately and efficiently.
- Support customer after service in handling returns, exchanges, and customer inquiries related to order status and shipping.
- Assist with order processing and submit data entry tasks to ensure accurate stock record-keeping and documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and marketing to ensure seamless ecommerce operations.
- Any other duties as and when assigned from time to time.
You might thrive in this role if you have:
- SPM/Diploma/Degree holder.
- At least 1 year of work experience, ideally in e-Commerce or high-growth industries livestream experience is preferred and experience with platforms such as TikTok/ Lazada/Shopee would be an added advantage.
- Experience in graphic design / expertise in digital and print design.
- Willing to work 5 or 6 days a week (Saturday got order only come to warehouse for order fulfilment)
- Ability to work independently, proactive, team player, highly organized, meticulous, quick and efficient with a can-do attitude.
- Strong common sense, problem solving and research skills.
